About Me

I am a mountaineer who often sneezes when I see a lot of garbage in my playground. And most of the rubbish that is on the mountain is the garbage made of plastic. Medium 1 new plastic can decompose with the ground about 1-10 tahun (depending on the type of plastic). And every day hundreds of people climb the mountain with one path, not another path, and yet another mountain. Each mountain in Indonesia has 2-4 climbing trails. And Indonesia has dozens of mountains. Imagine, how much garbage can be generated by unscrupulous elements? Therefore, I intend to collect and reprocess the rubbish I met on the mountain.

My Business

My source of income is on the work I have done from the garbage collected. So I want to apply for a loan to help with the addition of funds to buy the materials I need. In addition I get the benefits of the work, can also help reduce the buildup of waste in the earth, especially in the mountains.

Loan Proposal

With this loan I will buy tools and materials to make handicrafts from plastic. Examples are to buy scissors, glue, paper, cloth, aluminum, buttons, plastic hoses, and more. So I can teach others to keep working to meet the needs of life.

About Me

My Business

Due to financial problems that are still quite heavy, so please lighten the installment amount.

Desy, I hope you see this :-)

I just had an idea that I'm surprised I didn't think of back in 2017 when I first got to see your wonderful work...

It might be worth considering making a profile on Etsy... Its a website that is popular for people wanting to buy handmade goods etc. It would be great to be able to buy some of your work... & I thought it might make it a bit easier to bring in some more income by being able to sell to people further afield (like people here from Zidisha).

If you do end up making one, please go ahead & share your store with us :-)

Hope this is a little helpful? I hope things get a little easier for you soon :-)
All the best, Emma from Australia.

Joost... I know you mean well, but I just thought I would bring your attention to how much you tend to write messages that evoke a sense of guilt or shame... & as a current psychology student, I just wanted to let you know how damaging & unhelpful that can be...

It is possible to instead give lenders support/encouragement as the little nudge some need, & still provide relevant useful/helpful information. When you go about things by using guilt/shame, it can often be more triggering/damaging than it is useful, as not everybody has rock solid self esteem or belief in themselves. If people feel like they've disappointed people, or are beyond redemption/made too many mistakes that someone no longer believes in them, it can often stop them believing in themselves, & cause people to withdraw/give up...

I just thought I would let you know, as it often breaks my heart a little when I see your messages... Not everyone reacts/responds to things the same... We need to go about things with encouragement, kindness & empathy, as showing understanding/respect/compassion is more likely to illicit the same in return... We need to remember we are all human & showing our humanity is the best way to do that...

I hope you read this & understand it is being written with the best of intentions, & not meant to be hurtful/rude etc :-)

Wishing you all the best Joost, I hope life is making you smile.
      Emma from Australia.

I see how much you care, you're everywhere on zidisha, you help out a lot of people :-) Its good to have you here...

I almost didn't post this, but just wanted to say thank you...

I hope you're doing wonderfully in your neck of the woods.
        All the best, Emma.

    WELL DONE DESY :-) :-) :-)

Don't stress yourself too much about posting pictures all the time etc... Although they can be lovely/inspiring to see, you just focus on doing what you're doing hun :-) My earlier message asking about an update was just to check you hadn't disappeared... I just wanted to check you were ok because payments hadn't come through for a little bit... But its SO WONDERFUL to see/hear how well you're doing, and good job for finishing the last loan up :-)

I'll be here to support you for any future loans hun, don't stress yourself too much :-) Just try & pop a msg through to let us know if you're ever having a hard time. But you very much still have our support :-) Maybe making smaller regular repayments might make things easier for yourself?

I hope life is making you smile Desy! You're doing such wonderful things...

    All the best, Emma.

    Dear Desy,

If possible please work on your “on-time repayment” score. It’s important to have a high score because such a loan is funded faster by the lenders. If your score is 90% or higher (it’s now 46%) then your credit limit is allowed to grow.

More info about how this core is calculated can be found here www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...

Good luck with your business and please keep me posted with all the new stuff you make.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

My previous loan was fully paid, and I would like to apply for another loan through Zidisha to support my work in plastic waste processing. And hopefully what I do can be useful and can make money for many people around me.

No wonder your comment got passed the team, you wrote in Bahasa slang. :) @Desy, if you have not been able to pay for your chosen commitments, you can choose to reduce your installment amount. Info to your lenders what causes you can not pay your installment. Please keep your lenders trust.
