I was born into a family of seven siblings with me being the last. I had my formal education with a university degree being the highest from the University of Cape Coast.
After graduation, I had a teaching job appointment at a private basic school. My salary was fixed at a high school diploma level without acknowledging my university degree due to graduate youth unemployment challenge in the country. I managed to open a small shop with savings and resigned from the teaching job to enable me manage my shop efficiently.
Ghana is a wonderful country with a rich culture where humility and respect plays a vital role among neighbors.
My hobby is playing football.
AMJ Enterprise is the name of my business. I mainly sell household items including canned and tin foods(milo, milk, sardine etc), drinks, bag of rice, toiletories etc which are required on a daily basis. I chose to open this shop when I realized neighbors had to walk long distances for such items.
Some of the profits are ploughed-back into the business and some for home up keeping.
I need a loan to buy 14 bags of rice, 5 cartons of milk and milo respectively, 2 boxes of tin fish, 5 cartons of can drinks (asorted) all costing about $282 to retail. I will maximize profit with these purchases to satisfy the needs of consumers.
