My names are John Muriu Njuguna, a Kenyan citizen identification number 22535873. I was born on 10th February 1980 at Kandutura village Rongai Township in Nakuru County. I am married with one wife and blessed with three children. I went to Thirandu primary school and later Mama Ngina Kenyatta Secondary school, both in Rongai Township. I did not go beyond secondary school.
Later in life I moved to Gilgil Township with my family where I am currently settled. I am running a Boda boda business. Boda boda is a corrupted word for border and was a very lucrative business at the Uganda-Kenya border in the past. It involved bicycle transport. With time, the trend has steadily spread to other areas of the country and has evolved to include motor cycle transport.
Mine is a motor cycle and it is my livelihood. It has been sustaining me for five years now and I love it with all my heart.
I own one motor cycle; a kingbird. On average I make Ksh 1,000 per day which translates to Ksh 30,000 per month. The fuel is approximately Ksh 300 per day translating to about Ksh 9,000 per month. Maintenance is about Ksh 2,000. The maintenance is low due to the fact that Gilgil and its environs are covered in tarmac and therefore the roads well maintained. This poses little or no damage to the motorcycle. Occasionally, I buy new tyres and tubes at an average cost of Ksh 5,000. I replace the tyres and tubes after every six months. Therefore, I am left with an average income of Ksh 15,000 per month.
My motor cycle, a King Bird is a powerful machine that is able to cover long distances within a short time. It can also carry a lot of luggage. Therefore, customers prefer it to the other makes
Lenders once again thank you for your continuing support. I saw a need to purchase one acre land at cost 250000 i have managed to save 150000 from my harvest and some savings from my daily cows. I have been having some probrem to feed my cows because of extended drought, alot of my income was buying hay for my daily cows.
I have decided to buy one acre land, plant grass and lucern that will support me anually. This will reduce expenses that buy grass. I will focus more On my income to achieve my target come next year . Am targeting Six good cows that will be able to supply milk the whole year . With your funding my dream will true . By the end of next year, my life and that of my familly will be transformed. We will pray God to witness this next year. Thanks in advance.
