I am a businessman and a farmer at the same time.I operate a curio shop in Maua town found in Meru county.I also have dairy cows at my rural home in kisii county.
I have three dairy cows which give me around USD 825 per month on top of my earnings from a curio shop of $530 per month. My average cost to run the business per month is $177 for the shop and USD 150 in my dairy cow farming per month. I also do online assignment with Brainy Writers who pay twice in every month. I do get an average of $352 per month. Their payment is made on 5th and 25th of every month. The only cost I incur to do these assignments is $12 for internet bundles monthly. The only risk involved in my curio shop business is that i deal with fragile goods. For online assignment, the risk involved is that sometimes orders are few for one quarter in a year. This makes me make an average of $60 per month.
I have a dairy farm with three cows.I have a demand for milk which am not able to meet.I therefore want to purchase two more dairy cows to bridge the gap between my current supply of milk and my market niche demand for milk.
I sell milk to my customers and request them to pay me cumulated amount of a weekly basis.Part of these weekly proceeds are the one I will use to make my weekly repayments.I understand the risk with which covid 19 may subject my business into and wants to add another product of milk in the value chain by making yoghurt. This will cushion me from any unforeseeable oversupply of milk incase customer demand for milk goes down.
