About Me

My name is John and I come from Kenya. I am the first born in a family of eight six boys and two girls. I did my Advanced level whereby I qualified to join the University. Later studied Philosophy and Theology which i passed with good honours and then got a job with the Child Welfare Society of Kenya. In this position i supported many orphans and vulnerable children thrive well with good care and protection. I am married and with six children all going to school and colleges. I love my family.
My hobbies are aerobics, jogging and hiking big mountains. I have done several hikes to almost all the big mountains in Kenya.

My Business

I have been jobless for some few years and therefore engaged myself in running a small shop for groceries, cereals and other general goods. It is able to provide food for the family but for educational needs I have to supplement with renting plots where I plant assorted plants such tomatoes, potatoes, peas and onions to sale to the market once they mature.
This way I am able to make some profit that I use to pay fees for my children's education. Any help or support to help realize this dream of educating all my children is well appreciated. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I intend to begin buying cereals and vegetables from Central Kenya where they have had a bumper harvest for maize, beans and other cereals. With the rains many farmers have a surplus of vegetables and the market is low including low prices. But in the major towns life is difficult and food is scarce. Many people are not engaging in the business due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
I have ready farmers upcountry with ready produce and vegetables for collection.
I will get orders from local dealers here in the city neighborhoods and organize with the farmers to get me my LPOs and load it into the van for transportation to my destination.

Income Source

Food stuff and necessary commodities are free for movement from one place to a another without restrictions.
I have been doing a market study of the demand in the market for cereals and especially vegetables and it's all time high with the lockdown.
I will build my start up slowly and gradually create a niche for myself in the supply of fresh green bananas, tomatoes, greens, lettuces, local vegetables plus rice and beans from Kirinyaga County.
I am hopeful that I should be able to make some profits and repay the loan slowly.

In these perilous times, this is exactly the kind of loan I am eager to support. But John Fisher Kanene needs more money, so other lenders, please dig deep to help him reach this worthy goal.
    Thank you
