About Me

Duo Stephen Neka was born in the year 1981 in the County of Tana River in the Coast al area of Kenya. I started school at idsowe primary school the at tarasaa secondary school. I dropped out of school while in form two due to lack of school fees. i am now a farmer here at Kipini town.
I have a passion in farming, I realize the family farm was lying ideal and i decided to take the opportunity to till it since i was jobless. i now make good earnings from the farm as i also contribute in provision of food to the community. at kipini is where the river tana meets the Indian ocean and it makes a nice and memorable scenery. i want my children to be either nurse or teacher because i see these professions to be marketable. i like playing soccer during my free time.

My Business

I do farming. it is an activity that i have started five years ago. i plant watermelons, kales and mangoes that i sell in my area and as far as malindi. i have a passion for farming which contribute to provision of food to my people and i make money for myself. my produce are on high demand both at the village leven and the towns nearby too. i chose this business because i saw the needf for it and i want to be self employed too. i make good earnings from my farming activities that enable me take care of my needs. i use the profit in meeting my needs and in expanding my farm too.

Loan Proposal

I plan to purchase stock of oil since its convenient rather than buying smaller quantities and also do servicing of my water pump that I normally use to do irrigation at the farm. The amount will also assist me in proper prepation of the farm as I will be planting again soon. Thank you zidisha lenders for the support.

dear lenders of zidisha, i used my loan to buy irrigation pipes since of late my farm has expanded. the purchase of the pipes has made it possible for me to irrigate most of the farm and has made my work easier because i used to irrigate parts of the farm carrying a bucket of water and pouring. i have used my profits to do tilling and preparing my farm ready for planting melons again since they fetch good profits. my neighbohood has a lot of wild animals like the zebras, antelops and dik dik.

It’s possible to use your phone to upload a photo. You might have to make it a bit smaller before you upload the photo.
