I was born in 1961 in a village called Soget forest which is in Kericho county. I joined my primary education in 1971 in Soget primary school and sat for my primary education certificate in 1977. In 1978 to 1981 I was in secondary school. I managed to join the higher level in 1982 and 1983,(form 5 and form 6) After leaving the school I stayed at home helping my parents farming and other things up to 1990. In 1991 I was employed as a shop keeper for only two years. In 1993 my parents bought a garden at Kimangu farm in Nakuru county where we are up to date. I am staying with my parents taking care of them because they are very old. I am blessed with 4 children (two boys and two girls) Our shamba is plot no. 578 Mukorino street.
I joined the field of business in 1993 of buying cereals and taking it to Nairobi up to 2008 where I started keeping Milk goat for I could not get time of going outside because of condition of my parents. I chose this business because the milk goat is very demanding because is very nutritious. I normally get six liters per day and sell at a rate of 100 kshs per litre. After giving my goats fodder, deworming and other requirement, I normally save kshs12,000 monthly. The only risk in this business is when my animal is sick.
To the given money,i will use to buy 3 more goat to increase the number of production from the previous. For this time i managed to produce 10 litres of milk a day. This makes me to get about K.E.S.1,500 a day by 30 days K.E.S.45,000.If i can get three more Goat,I am very sure to get more than K.E.S.50.000,while deducting all expenses
1.60.000 to buy three goat 20.000 each.
2.30.000 to build the shelter to the Goats.
3.10.000 for food and drugs.
4.10.000 for security.
Make the total of K.E.S.110.000.
I promise to use the amount wisely in order to benefit my family as well as to return back the a mount to to the person concern without problem. .
