About Me

I am 36 yrs old tech enthusiast, married with two kids. I have a degree in Information Technology and work full time in a computer shop in the bustling city of Nairobi in central Kenya. As you can imagine there are very few green spaces. I am have passion for nature and animals. I try to spend as much time as I can in the country and generally appreciate a farming lifestyle and value of hard work with one's own hands.

My Business

In my spare time, I try to do a little farming here and there. I also have ambitions for livestock rearing. For this year I have ambitions to rear traditional chicken which are hardy and resistance to disease. I have recently acquired a small piece of land in the outskirts of Nairobi for this project. I have ambitions to develop it for a chicken rearing project - put up a structure and sink a well for water. Since my project location is quite close to the city, market should not be problem once i go live.

Loan Proposal

As step one of this project, the money loaned will go into fencing a quarter acre piece of land i have recently acquired for this project. Th e money applied for should be enough to purchase fencing poles. I have identified a supplier of eco-friendly bamboo fencing poles each at about 1USD. Subject to fund availability, step two is building a chicken pen and sinking a water well.

This is a measure to address a temporary cash fall. I will be able to go back to the original schedule in a week or so.
