My name is Collins Kipchumba a Kenyan by birth I studied from Makerere University in Uganda and majored in international Business in which I graduated with a masters degree and happily pursuing farming and aiming to become an international exporter of tomatoes and other farming products.

I'm happy to have gotten lucky to study and aquire valuable knowledge in the field of business. Although jobs have been scarce i tried not seat and wait for opportunities but to go ahead and create mine. A million miles start with one step.

I started a small green house project in 2016 in my small community and during that period I have noticed that the demand and supply in my community is wanting. and therefore the need to expand and produce more of the products.

I have a daughter whose future needs to be secured. And the love i have for her and horticulture is what drives me to work harder and strive for excellence.

I'm looking forward to become an international renowned exporter one day.

My Business

My business is entirely based on farming and produce of tomatoes for sale in the local supermarket and all my produce is bought by the locals. I also cross plant Tomatoes and green Pepper on a small scale.
The income I earn is from tomatoes and some additional milk production that i sell. The profit I get is reinvested in the business and is a source of my livelihood and income.

Loan Proposal

Hello, Zidisha I'm here once again asking for your help in facilitating the transportation and sale of my tomatoes. Christmas holidays are here the money would go to paying for transportation to the market. The cost is around $15 and hiring a stall for the day is around $8 this would indeed help me out in this holiday.

Its saddening that i have taken all this time to pay this loan. Its so really bad because others borrowers are suffering from my luck of payment. I'll do all my best to get back on track and return my repayment to 100% like what i used to do. Sincerely sorry guys. For sure sincerely sorry to all zidisha fraternity

Please make a payment on your Zidisha loan. Lenders loaned to you with good faith that they would be paid back in a timely manner. Zidisha is a powerful tool when used correctly to grow a business. Do not throw away an opportunity to prosper in the future.

  Pests made me go at a loss but im good. The PVC nylon got torn during the raining period and dirty water reached my tomatoes and they got infested with diseases. But all is well sorry for the delay though ill be back on track.

Thanks Lender though as of now i have not yet made some sales the tomatoes are growing well. Soon ill be able to make adjustments to the payments and pay more thanks anyways for your constant help

Just finished clearing the small balance. Hoping it will be updated soon on my profile. Sometimes it would be better if it was shown in my local currency so that I can actually clear the exact amount. Paid the amount less by$4.39 but finally cleared it to.
