      Mr. Mutashe,

Please keep me informed on this situation. I am one of Robert's lenders and I am starting to become concerned since he has not made any repayments.

I'm not sure contacting Jane Gaiko will work since it appears she was sick last year and appears to be unresponsive (I have tried contacting her myself on one of her mentees to no avail).

Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you,
      Cris

    Jane,

I hope that both you and your business have recovered from a difficult year.

I see that you are the VM for Laban Mukuna. He has not made any repayments nor has he communicated with his lenders. Could you please check up on him and get back to us? He is $37 in arrears which now amounts to one-third of total amount borrowed. I have messaged him, but have not received a response.

Could you also check up on Fredrick Omamo? He has not made a single repayment nor has he responded to 2 messages I left him.

    Thank you,
    Cris

    Dear lenders,
This is Analin Saturria McGregor, Country Liaison Manager at Zidisha.
Our former VM Mary Kihara gave us an update today on Jane via email. While she is back to work, her business has not recovered from the theft that happened earlier this year. Revenue is very low right now, and this business is Jane's family's sole source of income. She hopes the holidays will bring augmented business to her area so she can resume her loan payments as soon as possible.
Thanks to all of you who've left your messages of support for Jane! I'm sure she appreciates it!

Hi Jane, Sorry to hear about you being bed ridden. It is so unfortunate that this had to happen to you when you have such a great task to achieve. I am trying to be a VM and would have loved to try to help where I can as Bahati and where I live in Teachers is not such a big deal. Anyway what we need to do, for those of us that you are our VM need to try and chip in to help you. I would have started immediately but unfortunately I also have a burden on my shoulder as my nephew's house was burnt down over the weekend and we have to try and help him get on his feet. In fact when i opened your your link I wanted to ask you what I could do to try and borrow some money for him to help him try and get a temporary house put up. But when i have found you in the situation you are in I feel so sorry about it. So I will wait and get in touch at a latter date. I want to wish you the best and quick recovery for your injury. God is with you and will help you overcome your physical problem. I want to encourage you to keep praying so that He may be quick and giving you a quick recovery. God bless.

Hi Lenders, my name is Bayle and I am a Client Liaison Intern with Zidisha. I have been working with Jane in her Volunteer Mentor duties, and wanted to update you on her situation. As you know, in early August, Jane suffered a leg injury. This injury has still not been resolved, and she is currently on bed rest in the hospital to help her recover. The continuation of this health issue has put her behind in payments, and made it difficult for her to contact those borrowers assigned to her as a VM. We are working with Jane to help her focus on recovering from her injury.

Jane, we wish you the best and hope you have a quick recovery!

    Hi,
I would like to request you find out what it means to have a loan not been able to activate. It seems that there could be something wrong.with the way it was filled. Yaani! what I am saying is after you have filled the form and submitted then a message is sent back saying that it can not be activated. I am in a lot of stress due to this problem as I would really love to know what or where the problem is . I may make the same mistake again if I fill the form for someone else. It could cause one to have high blood pressure. Ama what do you think Hope you are well. God Bless and keep up the good work that you are doing as a mentor.

    Hello,

I see you are the volunteer mentor for Stephen Watima. He has not made any repayments in over 6 months and I am concerned about him. Is everything okay?

When we have mentor's like you work and understanding of this networking becomes so much easier. Being in Bahati must be a little challenging as the community may not be as interested as in town to be in network. How do you manage cause we in town keep complaining that we do not have enough work but you seem to keep going. I want to encourage you to just keep going and ask god to give you grace and encourage you to also have faith in our heavenly God who makes everything possible.

    Dear Ms. Geiko,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope you will be fine soon, though.

I would like to bother you with the case of Mercy kiruthi, once you are up to.

We have not heard from her since quite a while and there is also no repayment of the loan granted.

If and when convenient, can you please check with Mrs. Kiruthi?

    Thanks & Best Regards,

    Markus Meier

Today Mrs. Gaiko notified Zidisha that her shop had been vandalized in February and all of her computer hardware stolen. She is nevertheless committed to repaying her loan but wanted us to know why she is late.
