Happy new year to our esteemed lenders, our blessed Director and the entire Zidisha community. It's my prayer and hope that this year presents renewed hope and energy to continue in the spirit of supporting each other without getting fatigued. I express my heartfelt gratitude to my lenders for financing me at the close of year 2017. I intend to utilize the funds to buy printing papers for producing training notes for our January Digital literacy class. This will help me boost the profit margin that will help us meet other cost including internet bundles, electricity and other utilities. The revenue generated will all go towards paying school fees for my children. I once more wish to thank and highly appreciate our lenders for their continued financial support. Its been a long journey since that first loan i received through the Zidisha platform. The loan has enabled me sell about five coffee huller machines to farmers,earning me about 250$ that has helped me personally.One of the machines enabled me form a partnership with one of the farmers and i was enable to process coffee which we sold.I have been able to expand my business to different regions,hence gain more experience.Thank You!

I used my loan to purchase one 100kg sack of special grams(kamande). Purchase price per kg ksh 190 and sold at ksh 220 per kg. Profir ksh30 per kg. One bag goes for utmost 1week. Profit for the month was ksh12000. The 2months was ksh. 24000 plus due to increased demand. The increased earnings I used to donate a few stuffs to a children's home near my neighbourhood, paid school fees for my child and celebrated my child's birthday on 24/12/2017 accompanied with some fun along with that. Hallo! Zidisha, I must began with more thanks for the loan that I have recently paid.The loan really helped me because with it I replaced my motorbike's engine. I used the loan funds that I have just completed for stocking more items for my shop, Thise includs bars of soaps, bags of sugar, salt, cooking oil, cooking fat and many more. I have seen a big change in my business since I received the money it helped me to even increase my shop in size, my earnings from this business have made my profit to increase from where I was 15% up to 25%. My increase from thise profit have really helped me in paying school fees for my younger siblings who are still in high school.

This boy is my son who refused to take his breakfast before leaving for school because he had an exam to write. Can you Imagine, he was even still reading on his way to school. The mother had to come in to convince him to stop learning and eat and go to school. Thank God, zidisha has come to keep the fire burning. I'm able to pay his school fees to continue his education because of zidisha's support. We are quite a happy family now than before. comment image
