About Me

My name is Zipporah Rono. I am 26 years old, married and blessed with two children. I am the third born in a family of four. I reside with my family at Chepkosa village in Bomet County.
In order to support the low income, I started one year ago a cereal shop at Kapkwen shopping centre which has become a big success to me and my family so far.
My hobbies are reading, listening to music and adventure.

My Business

I have a cereal shop at Kapkwen shopping centre about 3 kilometres from Bomet town. I sell cereals such as: maize, wheat, rice, millet and a few legumes such as dried beans. I source most of these products from Western Kenya and I normally make a margin of about 40% profit. My main customers are local residents and hotels within the shopping centre.
The business is good, so I would like to expand by adding stock.

Loan Proposal

I intent to buy 3 more 90 kg each of green grams, beans and pishori rice at $55,$65 and $61 respectively to an existing stock.
This is after I have gain more customers in my shop as a result of my good communication skill in customer conduct which has made my customers gain faith in my ceteal business hence high demand of my products.
It will give me an additional profit of $30-$40. This is a good additional profit to my business. I will ensure prompt repayment of the loan when given. I hope and believe that you will consider supporting me.
Thanks
Sincerely Zipporah Rono

    Dear zidisha lenders,
I thank you very much for making my dreams come true by lending me. Your funds have enabled me lead a good life and it has exposed me to a business world. I have used the money purely on expanding my business and will continue doing the same until I become a role model to other women in my small society where initially it was believed that women cannot do business except to stay at home. It would not be possible without your assistance. I pray God to continue blessing you so that you can continue blessing others on the same.
Thanks a lot and God bless you more and more.
    Sincerely
    Zipporah Rono

This is a new term and as usual the first term usually charges higher school fees compared to other terms and also the business is low which is affected by school fees related for most of people who are clients pay school fees for their children.
I will reschedule back to my current schedule when all is well.
    Thanks

I hope your business has picked up. We had green gram stew for dinner and thought of you. Please share an update. Have you added any other new items to your shop? We are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving here in the USA. I will say a prayer giving thanks for you. Thank you for your continued efforts, and I hope your income will increase.

    Dear Shawn Stice,
Thanks for your concern. The introduction of green grams to my business is helping a lot my business despite recent low business. However, the business is now picking especially after the teachers call off their strike that had an impact not only to me but also to many businesses around here. Other wise I thank you for funding me and also for remembering to follow up on my development and also appreciate your prayers. Thank you so much and God bless you plentifully.
    Sincerely Zipporah Rono
