About Me

My name is leguka teeka, am 26 years old a single mother to 3 year old son. I was born in Kajiado in Ngong. I attended sarare primary school then later Ngong hills secondary. I was not able to further my education because my parents were low income earners.
I started training hairdressing in one of the salons near me.
After learning for 2 years I gained the skills and was able to get a small space where I practiced.
Around 2015 I met the father to my child everything was OK till I got pregnant, he got so abusive to a point I feared for my life and that of my kid.
For our safety I decided to relocate to kisii where the residents have been very kind.
I was able to continue my hairdressing business which has cartered for all my needs and that of my child.

My Business

I own a small salon where I do all kind of hairdressing. I over blow dry, chemical treatments, hair dying and braiding.
I have run the business for almost 4 years now, there has been challenges but I have managed to get enough clients to sustain my business.
There equipments that I don't have yet, I hope with your help I'll be able to grow my business and make it better.

Loan Proposal

Hello dear lenders, it's my sincere hope that you doing well. I. Would like to. Apply for a new loan to help me buy a dryer for my salon, this will help me give more quality services to my customers.
The dryer will cost kes 9500.
I will use the remaining amount of kes 7500 the get braids, shampoo and other hair products.

Income Source

At the moment business are still open and the curfew hours have been extended giving me more time to attend to my customers.
I still over house calls to customers who can't to the salon this will help me pay my loan back.
