About Me

I was seen as a very brilliant child when growing up, because I was excelling in my academic life. But from a poor background, I landed in a less endowed senior secondary school, with few teachers to handle the subjects we studied.
I was facing some challenges. Not much was covered in the syllabus, so although I passed my final exams, it was not the best I dreamt off.

But lo and behold I furthered and ended being a teacher in a village basic school with no electricity in the community.
I have been able to help some of the little ones to read and write, and and even furthered their education to the tertiary level.

I have passion for farming besides helping the little ones with their academic life.

I am into cocoa farming, rearing of goats and in planting of food crops like plantain, cassava and cocoyam.

Culturally, my people are friendly. We have traditional songs and dance. We have our traditional food.

My Business

I love farming.
I am into cocoa farming, food crop farming and rearing of farm animals (goats).
I chose farming because food is a basic need of man. The food crops will serve as food, and the cash crop (Cocoa) would be sold for income (for the nation and myself).
I chose to do Cocoa farming because Cocoa has a lot of uses. For example, Cocoa can be processed into Milo, chocolate, body creams and lotions, just to mention a few.

The costs of the farming is in the purchasing of fertilizers, agrochemicals, Chemical sprayer, labour, transportation. Revenue is from loans.

I will reinvest in the farming and other businesses. I will also use part to further my education and pay children fees, and also for home improvement.

Loan Proposal

I will use $103.4 to pay labour cost of weeding the farm site.
Future loans would be used to purchase agrochemicals -$633, fertilizers-$802, Chemical sprayer-$300, and a vehicle (farm pickup) - to ease transportation

Sebastian, lenders don't determine the credit limit
for any borrower's loan. That is determined by
algorithms programmed into the system by the Staff:
    www.zidisha.org/team

    Please also be aware:

Lenders cannot help you with anything technical or administrative.
Therefore, this isn't the correct place to try to reach the Staff.

    For more information, please read

    Thanks, and best wishes.

I will use it to pay the labourers who will weed the farm, and feed them.
Remaining would be used as transportation from the town of residence to the town of the farm.

I wish to have bigger amounts to purchase chemicals and equipments for the farming, and also purchase a vehicle to ease the transportation challenges.

Thank you very much for your help.
Like, Oliver, I humbly ask for more with less interest. God Bless you all. Amen

I will use to pay for the cost of transportation since the location of the farm is far from where I live, part of it will be used for feeding and wedding

    Dear Sebastian,

Thank you for the great update. It’s nice to see the process of planting. In my country we only see the result in the form of chocolate but we don’t ever see how it grows.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
