About Me

I grew up in a christian family my father was the pastor of Kenya Assemblies Of God Nakuru Kenya growing up as a pastors child was a bit challenging and honestly i didnt like it then because everyone expected us to behave in a certain way like we live in heaven with the angles for instance I was expected to dress up in long dresses which I didn't like any time I dressed in trousers or a short dress people would point fingers and say look at the pastors daughter this was not good at all, i went to school here in nakuru did my Olevels in nakuru too but went to nairobi for my diploma course in Housekeeping, just after my collage i got married though this was not what i wanted for myself but because i got pregnant i decided to get married and for 15 years of my life i was a stay at home mum and because i loved my housekeeping carrier so much i thought of ways of how i could go back to my passionate carrier and by the grace of God i bounced back.

My Business

I started my business in 2010 i have 22 rooms where guest check inn for bed and breakfast my business is situated in Nakuru town just 1km from the great Lake Nakuru, Sleepway Cottages as they are known have small dinning area where guest have there breakfast there, our rooms are big and spacious and our prices are quite affordable we charge USD15 for bnb and USD12 for bed only, i get 10-15 guests everyday i love my work it has made me be who i am today. I was passionate about hosting guests and making them comfortable while back at home and i said to myself when i grow up i would like to be a housekeeper and this is how i started my carrier i went to collage for housekeeping course and in 1998 i graduated. I use my profit in improving my business buying repairing and maintaining my business, i save alot and this has helped me to pay school fees for my children, i live in my own house and my business has helped me to buy new furniture in my house and a vehicle that i use in running my day to day errands.

Project Proposal

Once I receive the funds I plan to renovate and revamp the cottages by painting a fresh coat of paint on the walls of the entire cottage both exterior and interior walls. The current existing paint is currently worn out and was last painted 5 years ago.
It's our conviction that the anticipated revamp and renovation will give the cottages a fresh new look and therefore boost our business by retaining our current customers as well as attract new customers.

Thanks alot to all my backers I am so grateful for the financial assistance you gave me of $2000, this amount helped me to put tiles in all the bathrooms in my hotel this has really uplifted the face of my rooms this making it easy to clean and save time, now guests are enjoying their stay and now pay $20 per night from $10, I really thank you all for making it possible for us, we can now enjoy going for holiday with my family it is really paying off.

I intend to renovate my cottages by painting both exterior and interior so the money you have lend me will be used to purchase high quality paint for both indoor and out door and for paying for the labour of work done.

Thank you so much for your kind heart I am truly grateful and may God remember each one of you on your time of need.

I used my completed loan to furnish my dining area by adding more tables and chairs to accommodate more people, the dinning table is a 8 seater which is very suitable for big families they now sit together when having meals, previously we had small tables that accommodated 2 and 3 people, I also bought a 5 seater dining table and still used the other 2 and 3 seaters for couples and for individuals. The last thing I did i put a concrete pavement around my compound which costed $ 1000, my compound looks really beautiful with the nice flowers and trees that makes the place look even better. A big thank you for all who helped me in achieving this by sending your finances I am truly grateful to y'all and to Zidisha may you live long.
