About Me

I was born in Kroasu, a village of Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. My father who was the bread winner of the family was a night watchman in one of the government's organisations. I had my basic and secondary school in the Western Regional Capital, Sekondi- Takoradi. My parents were peasant farmers, three square meal was something I never enjoyed during my infancy and cost of education was also unbearable by my parents. Am proud to say that I manage to break that circle by coming out with flying colours at the Basic Education Certificate Examination, which gave me the opportunity to enjoy the Governments scholarship to read Business at the secondary education level. Having had my eduacation in the Metropoly, I have come to realise the world is driven by information, ideas and intelligence. I am now back in my village to help provide knowledge in Information Communication Technology to my people. I am doing this because the only tool that would help man achieve quality in the shortest time is computer. The people of my Village are glad to see this because its the first of this kind.

My Business

I am providing tuition in Information and Communication Technology to the residence of Kroasu. This is soo essential in everyday work. As the demand of human changes, there arise the need for new ways of doing things. Knowledge in computing is a basic necessity of man. Am motivated to do this because its the only way my community can develop to meet the needs of the twenty-first century. Its a little expensive to do such business here in the part of the world, am glad to have the help of my parents and my family providing their royalty to assist and make my dream come true. The fixed cost includes the electricity bill, property tax etc and the cost of maintaining the computers as the current cost. My source of revenue is the fees students pay to access this facility. I would use this money I get from your outfit to buy more computers and a projector

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan I raise from Zidisha to pay for Electricity bill of the Computer Laboratory of my ICT training centre. The cost of the Electricity bill is $7. Paying the Electricity bill will help the laboratory get access to constant and interrupted flow of electric power supply to enable pupils practice what they have been taught. This will make the school continue running and also attract more pupils there by increasing enrollment. The increase in pupils enrollment will increases the tuition fees I receive from the pupils at the long run.

The pupils are on christmas break and because my main source revenue is the fees paid by pupils, There is the need to reduce my installment amount so as to meet my timely payments.

Thank you all my lenders, my dream won't have come to pass except through you. I will buy a desktop computer and a projector. The provision of this provision of infrastructure will help pupils practice what the been taught and also reduce the ratio of pupils to computer. And will attract more pupils to the my ICT training centre. Once again am proud of you my lenders and I hope we will continue to work together till the forseable future. Thank you all

I two bought stabilisers to help regulate the recent sudden power fluctuation from breaking down my computers. And also bought a slightly used second hand desktop computer.
These step helped me from incurring my usual expenditure (repels) on broken down computers. My revenue for the quarter has increased marginally since this a lond term project. But the litter saving from repels and proceeds have helped my take care of some overhead expenditure and I am also been able to provide additional table and chair for teaching and learning.

I have invested the money into education and since school have just reopened it will be difficult for me to raise much funds to pay off my loan. The reduction in payment will help me to have a flexible payment plan and also help me to make my payment ontime without any difficulty.

I will buy a stablizer. This will help regulate the power fluctuations that can cause breakdown of the computers at my ICT centre. The constant flow of electricity will help to make learning smooth and will attract more people to the centre. I have through previous loan paid off all my electricity bill.

Even though the amount i was given is insignificant, it has brought marginal developement to my business. The enrollment has had a little boost and am so optimistic that it would be better it the near future. Futhure more, wice the charges on the repayment is equivalent to the installement paymnt. So it is prudent to pay this amount which would attract same charge on payment through the mobile money.

I will use the money to foot the electricity bill of my ICT centre. I would help to enable constant flow of electricity. This would help the centre run always and would help increase my revenue. Even though the amount i quit insignificant, i thank Bing- shu Pan for being part of my dream and to all the staff of zidiha for such an opportunity. I look forward to a bigger package in the foreseeable future
