Dear Lenders and Zidisha Team, I called Sarah today at 2.47 pm using skype but she did not receive my call. I phoned her again with my number which she did not pick also.Maybe she was in the middle of something as she always pick my phone.Maybe she will call me if she happen to see my number but if she doesn't,then i will call her and inform you of the outcome of our discussion.

Dear zidisha team the reason why i have decided to change my loan payment is that i was sick and was admitted to memorial hospital for one and a half month so when i come back i was to look for capital to start up my business so for now am still going on with my chemotherapy while my business is slowly picking and that i cant afford to pay 948 per week i can only afford to pay 300 a month am kindly looking forward to work with you guys thank you and God bless you all.

it is clear that Sarah has been not well for some time. i don't think it beneficial to put more pressure on her; i'm positive that once her business picks up she'll be in position to continue with repayments.
i'm happy to forego my part of the loan.

DEAR LENDERS/ZIDISHA TEAM
Thank you for your mail and for these people who make effort to call me. The reason why am in arrears is that i have been sick for the past one and half month i was addmitted at memorial hospital in Nairobi. which i under go my treatment i was having cancer of which i was going for chemotherapy as for now am recovering slowly a lot of people have called people like Jeremiah and Dennis i told them that i was looking for capital to restart again my business that i will start paying my loan early June i hope you all will understand me.

Thank you for your mail and sms that i recieved in regard to one of my asigned member Sarah Awuor who is in arrears.I called and talked to Sarah yesterday the 26/5/2014 to check with her on her progress as she was sick sometimes back and confirm if she had made any effort to update her loan arrears as she had promised me when i talked to her last week.She told me that she was in better health and was working on ways to get money to clear her arrears which she promised to update by early next month (June).I then told her to fill her load reschedule form and write a comment for the same .I will check with her if she has made any effort to reschedule her loan or if she has made any payment and brief you accordingly.

To all lenders who donated towards Sarahs loan,
I spoke to Sarah today 23/5/2014 in regard to her loan arrears and she was bitterly complaining that many people have been engaged to talk to her as if she was not going to pay.I tried to explain to her that i was her volunteer mentor and it was my duty also to inquire from her about the loan and also the problem that might have hindered her from making the repayment ,that is when she told me that she was sich and was admitted for over one and a half months and until now is still under medication but will start repaying by the end of the month..I then told her on the need to reschedule jer loan in order to avoid so many calls .

I called Sarah Awour today at 9:50 a.m she told me that she was undergoing chemotherapy treatment for one and a half month,she says that now she is looking for capital to resume to her business.she promised to start paying at the end of this month.

I tried reaching Sarah on phone she didn't pick my calls and so is all her relative and her neighbors apart from George Onyango who told me that he dont know her and wondering how his number was used to endorse her.The community Leader number is also unavailable.

I phoned Sarah today at 1.18pm . She did not receive my call. I phoned her community leader, whose number does not work & so are her relatives & neighbours except Jacinta who picked my call & promised to prevail on Sarah to restart repayments. I recommend this profile is investigated.

Hi,

Thanks to all who have contributed towards my loan because I through Zidisha loan, my business has enough capital to meet demand of customers. I have extended my business and now am also preparing simple meals served with fish and the respond from local people is positive. I have started with few items like chairs, tables and plates but with current high customer flow for meals am planning to increase chairs and tables. Thanks lenders for supporting in my business
