About Me

am the last born in a family of two me and my sister. i was born in kisii county but my parents moved to kakamega where i under went my primary education at kakamega primary school and later joined mukumu boys high school where my designing talent was natured and after my o' level i was enrolled in the mombasa polytechnic university college where i did diploma in graphic design and media studies but when i was a first year i lost both my mum and dad but God saw me through my college for i used to work as a graphic designer part time as i studied. on completion of my studies i came back to kakamega where i used to hire a friends computer to do design works till i was able to raise money to purchase my own computer and printer that am using now. since the kenyan government introduced devolution and the county system ,we have experienced growth in business and the circulation of cash is good and the community appreciates new ideas and quality. designing and art in general first started as a hobby little did i know it will be my source of income to support my wife and two kids . i have grown skill wise and believe that if supported finance wise i can do big things because the sky is not the limit when it comes to design , i am the limit.

My Business

am in the designing industry majorly print media . i do graphic design where by i design business logos for both small and big business, i do magazine designs t - shirt printing
and general office stationery. this service that i offer is very useful and in demand because every day new business are being opened and they need there identity like logos , they need to do advertisements which we design, they also need receipt books , invoices, letterheads, complementary slips which i do the design so in conclusion no business minus a designer because we always help you to communicate your business to your audience through design layouts. my business is located at the CBD and the business is able to carter for the operating Government revenue and other costs like the utility bills, rent and other daily expenditures, although the challenge as been the capital to expand the business because we are forced to borrow money from commercial banks which as high interest rates that's why when i had of zidisha i was so grateful, and excited about this opportunity, so please consider my application.

Loan Proposal

i wish to thank my good lenders for having the faith in me by lending me the money that they gave me on my previous loan. the loan that you gave to me i used it to :-

1. Re-painting the whole office from outside and inside as shown in the pictures that i have posted today. I did this because the outside was terribly worse, it had not been painted for the last God knows when and it was bad for my business image. The inside also needed a new face which i did paint and now its looking brighter.
2. I also had to re- construct the office walls since the building was weak and needed to be strengthened for security reasons.
3. I had to do the partition of the office also as shown in the pictures that i have posted.
4. I also did electric wiring in the office as shown in the pictures that i have posted so that the office looks organized and free from electric shorts and burning of equipment in the office.

All this work my dear lenders cost a lot of money and the loan that i got couldnt manage the all work that i intended to do in terms of image uplift of the office and thats why i humbly come to you again to ask for your assistance to enable me complete uplifting the image of this office for what i have done so far with the money you gave me last time my customers and clientele have really applauded.

The parts that i haven't completed and need to be completed are:-
1. I need to work on the floor of my office which is badly off, by that i mean that i need to improve it by putting ceramic tiles to it which i will need 8 dozen which cost ksh. 6500/= and 3 bags of cement which cost ksh. 2100/= plus labour which will cost ksh. 2000/= thats a total of ksh. 10,100/=.

2. I need to improve or rather add some decent furniture in the office which totals up to Ksh. 22,000/=. thats include computer desk, a comfortable chair that doesnt damage my back due to long working hours, storage shelves etc.
by doing this, my office will be fully complete in terms of image uplift and this will give my clients confidence in me and my work and if that happens, it means more work which is = to more profits which is = to expansion of the business.
I wish to thank you once again for your good work of supporting small businesses globally. last but not least , please pray for our good country KENYA go have peace now and after the election and let not what happened in 2007 happen again. THANK YOU.

Unfortunately due to ongoing late repayment and no updates or payments in 18 months, we've had to use Receive Advance Repayment to get the loan money back to assist other lenders.

Hey Cliff, I agree with you, a good image is important. Do you get this with a proper look only? Of course not, as you know better than me... The best possible quality (in fair relation to the price paid, of course... :) will give you the needed mouth-to-mouth propagation. So, I guess, quality comes first – with quality comes volume of sales (revenue) – with good profit its easy to enhance other aspects of your business... Starting it all from bottom up is hard and I really wish you the best success, dear colleague! :)

First but foremost i would love to thank you so so so very much for the trust that you guys have shown in me by fully funding my loan not that you didn't have what to do with your monies but because of the good heart of giving.........A BIG THANK YOU
As i wrote in my proposal i will use the money to give my office a new outlook in terms of painting , making new shelves, tables and doing proper electrical installation. This will give the office an image that will install trust to my client and in the other hand it will make me at par with my competitors........thank you and my the almighty always make your pot full, your families will never lack......HAPPY NEW YEAR LEANDERS
