About Me

Am Vitalis Odero Ogutu.I went to Wangapala Sec. School where i did my O level with a lot of hardship due to lack of fees from my poor parents. I did not attend college due to same fee problem.I am married with 5 children.Because i had to struggle for my life and my family i began doing casual jobs from which i was able to raise money and bought 2 dairy cows .These 2 dairy cows produces 50 litres @ day which i sell out to my neighbours as my income.Apart from dairy farming i do engage in retail shopping where i do sell food stuff to the neighbourhood from my small scale kiosk.

My Business

I do keep two dairy animals in my half an acre farm. Part of the farm has been used to grow nappier grass for the animals. I do supply milk to my neighboring community on a daily basis. The income i get from milk sell has enabled me to pay fee for my children and also for my upkeep including my parents.
I appreciate the first loan of ksh.600 you gave me . It made me move somewhere. I also appreciate your second loan of ksh.4000 which enabled me expand my dairy cattle business and eventually bought two more dairy cattle.and again i appreciate for the third loan which enabled me to plant foder for my cows I now wish to apply for a loan of ksh4000 you recommended for me to continue with business.

Loan Proposal

Let me start by thanking the entire Zidisha team and for my previous loan which propelled my project. My previous loan gave impetus to my diary project. I owe this success to my lenders for faith in my project. Looking forward to my new loan.’

I intend to put the money towards the buying dairy feed
Through my business, am able to support mywife and children, including 1 son and 2 daughters. The milk in this area is in high demand as are other farming products. I typically sells dairy products at retail but when the harvest is good . I prefer to sell wholesale because this allows me to receive all of the profit at one time. , ‘My customers like my products because they are of great quality and fresh from the garden.

The reason being that when I fell sick immediately you gave me loan, I was unable to sell out my dairy milk hence no income. But kes 100 is just to keep reducing the loan, but I will try to sen d more than that. Thanks a lot.

This is to remind you that here on your borrower-lender Discussion page *isn't* the correct place to try to reach the Staff, as they almost never visit these pages. You waste your time every time you try to get help from the Staff here on this page. Instead, to send *them* a note, you need to click on the HELP link in your account.

This is the Staff, a/k/a the Team: www.zidisha.org/team

Please don't confuse your lenders with the Staff.
Although the two (2) current members of the Staff
also are lenders, most lenders *aren't* on the Staff.

As I mentioned, to send a note to them, please
always click on the HELP link in your account.

      Thank you.

Dear zidisha, this is kindly to inform you that I was hospitalised for two months, this is why my loan is overdue and paying poorly. I have been discharged and humbly request that you allow me up to 31st October to clear this loan. During this time my business also went down. Otherwise am very sorry for late payment.

Greetings zidisha staff & lenders, I am glad to learn that my loan has been fully funded, but unfortunately my network has been having a problem and am really having a difficult time communicating with you people, I therefore apologize for that delay. I wish to accept the loan so that you can go ahead and disburse the loan to me. May God bless you richly as you labor to help us in this regard. Vitalis Odero Ogutu.
